Supply

We have been suppling pallets for over 30 years across many sectors and pride ourselves on quick delivery with our own fleet of vehicles. We manufacture all new pallets from standard sizes, Euro style pallets, CP range as well as bespoke pallets.

Storage

We are able to store pallets ready for customers to call off at their convince making deliveries as quick as possible. We have both indoor and outdoor storage catering for pallets that need to be kept dry.

Company

Formed in 1987 by Dale and Lesley French, DAF Timber Limited is a privately-owned company based in County Durham .It’s a 5-acre site, producing in excess of 10 thousand pallets per week and cutting approximately 400m of timber a week. It is still a family ran business with both Lesley and Dale still working for the company along side their son, Warwick.

Why DAF Timber is different from the rest...

Here at DAF Timber we have our own sawmill, which means we can cut timber to any size and specification needed. It also means we are in control of the quality of sawn material being made in to our pallets, ensuring only the best quality timber is used.

The sawmill and pallet manufacturing unit work side by side producing new, standard and bespoke pallets. 40 employees are involved in our sawmill operations, pallet production and distribution network.

We continue to utilise a variety of hand-held nail guns for bespoke orders, however two automatic nailing machines allow us to manufacture larger volumes of pallets in short timescales.

As well as manufacturing and supplying pallets we offer other services such as Heat treating pallets, Kiln drying pallets and designing the right pallet for you.
